    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage composite material for absorbing/storing hydrogen at a normal temperature and a normal pressure and discharging the hydrogen at a relatively low temperature equal to or lower than 150°C. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage composite material 1 includes a hydrogen storage layer 2 comprising a metal oxide for storing the hydrogen, and a hydrogen absorbing layer laminated on the hydrogen storage layer 2 and configured including a noble metal for absorbing the hydrogen. It is preferable that a hydrogen absorbing layer configured including the noble metal for absorbing the hydrogen is provided also on the other surface on the opposite side of one surface where the hydrogen absorbing layer is laminated of the hydrogen storage layer 2.
