摘要： PURPOSE:To perform pressure casting easily and efficiently by protuberantly providing an extension part to one die member, forming a sprue to the other die member in the position corresponding to this extension part, fitting the extension part into the sprue and carrying out pressure casting. CONSTITUTION:With a die member 4 held moved to raise, a gas is introduced into a melting tank 10, and molten metal is filled in a predetermined amount in the cavity of the die member 3. The die memeber 4 is lowered by a main cylinder 7 to hermetically close the cavity 13. At this time, a minute gap is formed between the extension part 18 and the sprue 9 in the position where said part is inserted and therefore the molten metal in the sprue 9 first solidifies. The gas pressure is released to allow the molten metal to descend. The pressing force in the cylinder 8 is released and the die member 4 is pulled up by the operation of the main cylinder 7. The product in the cavity 13 is extracted from the die member 3 in the state that the product is held bound to the die member 4. The cylinder 8 is again operated and the product is ejected by a pressing punch 6, whereby it is taken out.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cast a member having high strength in the stage of pressure casting of a member having an aperture such as a rim for a vehicle or the like by forming the sprue of a casting cavity into an inverted circular cone shape, interposing a water cooled extension part thereon and cooling and solifidying a molten metal under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal in a melting tank 10 in a heating chamber 1 in the lower part is forced into the casting cavity 13 formed of die bodies 3, 4 by the high pressure gas supplied through a conduit 11. The molten metal pressurized by the gas passes through a stalk 14 and is charged through an inverted circular cone shaped sprue 9 formed to the body 3 into the cavity 13. An internally water-cooled extension part 18 from another die member 4 is preliminarily positioned to face the sprue 9. The pressure of the gas for pressurization is measured with a gage 16 and the supply of the gas is stopped after confirmation that the molten metal is filled in the cavity 13. A pressurizing punch 6 is then depressed downward by a cylinder 8 to cool and solidify the unsolidified melt in the cavity 13 under the pressurized condition. A rim for a vehicle or the like having an excellent strength characteristic is thus cast.
