    • PURPOSE: To enhance operation efficiency, by dropping an organic acid metallic salt meltable, by heating in the condition of ≥150°C temp. difference to granulate it.
      CONSTITUTION: The top 2 of a tower 1 is provided with a dropping device 3, and the lower part of it is equipped with a cold air supplying chamber 4. Liquid nitrogen is fed through an inlet 16 to the chamber 4 to use it as a cooling source. The cold gas is passed from the chamber 4 through a slit or a through- hole 5, upward through the tower 1, and led from an outlet 10 to an exhaust duct 11. After the cold gas is introduced into the tower 1 and the cold gas stream has been formed, an org. acid metal salt contg. e.g., 10% manganese naphthenate, heated to 140W150°C is dropped from the dropping device 3. The liquid falls through the tower 1, becomes solidified during passing through the cold gas stream, reaching a gas diffusing plate 6, and the granules are collected in the outlet 7, and discharged from an opening 9.

    • PURPOSE: To prepare the titled quick-curing composition having low discoloration tendency and excellent storage stability, and useful for gel coating, etc., by compounding a specific accelerator, an ethylenic unsaturated polyester, an unsaturated monomer, a thixotropic agent, an inhibitor and a filler.
      CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 30W80wt% (based on the components (A)+(B) of one or more ethylenic unsaturated polyesters), (B) 20W70wt% of one or more ethylenic unsaturated monomer compounds (e.g. styrene), (C) 0.5W4wt% of a thixotropic agent (e.g. silica), (D) 0.005W0.1wt% of an inhibitor (e.g. hydroquinone), (E) 0W200wt% of a filler (e.g. calcium carbonate) and (F) an accelerator consisting of a 8W16C monocarboxylic acid, and Co salt, alkaline earth metal salt and Cu salt of a chelate compound, wherein the amount of the component (F) is 0.001W0.5wt% as Co metal, 0.01W0.1wt% as alkaline earth metal and 0.001W0.05wt% as Cu metal.
