    • PURPOSE: To conserve the amount of a live steam used in heating, by reducing the pressure in the cooling water side of the condenser provided to the tower top of a fractionating tower while raising the pressure of generated steam to re-utilize the same as the steam for heating the fractionating tower.
      CONSTITUTION: A stock liquid is supplied to a fractionating tower 1 by a stock liquid supply pipe 7 and dehydrated solvent vapor is condensed by a condenser 2 while the separated solvent is recovered through a solvent recovery pipe 8. The cooling water in the condenser 2 is introduced into a vacuum tank 3 while the temp. thereof is raised by the heat of condensation of the separated solvent and a part thereof is evaporated to generate steam which is, in turn, raised in pressure by a hot compressor 4 and passed through a recovery steam supply pipe 10 to be mixed with live steam from a live steam supply pipe while the resulting live steam mixture is blown into the tower bottom of the fractionating tower 1 through a heated steam supply pipe 6 as a heat source. Because the cooling water of the condenser 2 is converted to steam by the heat of condensation of the solvent and the amount thereof is reduced, cooling water is replenished from a cooling water inlet 9.
