    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for attaching a check valve to a peripheral wall of a manhole.
      SOLUTION: The device has a core drill 25, a fixture 26 for taking out the core, and a valve-insertion fixture 27. A projection 265, which is projected high gradually toward the rear, is projected and formed at the center of the inside of the semicircular part 262 in cross section of the fixture 26 for taking out the core, and the part 262 is semicircular in cross section. After the core has been pulled out, the check valve is inserted and attached to the hole, from which the core has been pulled out, by rupturing the bottom of the hole by the valve-insertion fixture 27.

      SOLUTION: The valve device 11 is attached extrusibly to a case 21 fixed to a conduit hole 23 bored open on the peripheral wall of a manhole. The valve device 11 includes a fixing pin 19 which appears and disappears to engage separably with an engaging hole 24 formed on the case 21 to fix the valve device 11 to the case 21, a pressure detecting switch 17 which is turned on when water pressure outside the manhole peripheral wall reaches a preset value, and an electromagnet 18 which is excited when the pressure detecting switch 17 is turned on to separate the fixing pin 19 from the engaging hole 24 to release the valve device 11 from the fixation to the case 21. When the valve device 11 is released from the fixation, the valve device 11 is extruded into the manhole by water pressure outside the manhole peripheral wall to open the case 21.
