    • PURPOSE:To improve a response characteristic by installing a lens barrel part containing an objective lens to a movable end of a plate-shaped elastic body of inverted pendulum, making a plate surface part of this elastic body oppose each other in the moving direction, and scattering and placing plural pieces in a shape of a train in the vertical and horizontal directions. CONSTITUTION:A lens barrel 15 containing an objective lens 3 is installed in a state of inverted pendulum to a base body 17 through four plate-shaped elastic bodies 16a-16d forming a pair at a position opposed to an optical axis X of this lens 3. The plate-shaped elastic bodies 16a-16d are very thin, and for instance, are formed by a metallic piece of about 20mu thick. The plate surface part of said elastic bodies 16a-16d is turned in the tracking direction (X direction) in which the lens barrel 15 moves, and also plural pieces (two pieces in the executing example) of plate-shaped elastic bodies 16a, 16b are placed symmetrically agains the X-Z plane, and in the direction orthogonal to the tracking direction against these elastic bodies, other elastic bodies 16c, 16d are arranged in the same direction and also symmetrically to the X-Z plane.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the terminal structure of the multicore optical fiber connector best suited for multicore optical fiber connectors by using precision cylindrical members and changing the shape of the holding member. CONSTITUTION:The inside hole 5 of a cylindrical member 4 is finished to a diameter slightly larger than that of an optical fiber strand and is pierced in the position concentrical to the outside circumference of the cylinder. One end of the inside hole is applied with conical working to funnel form. The cylindrical members 4 thus made are assembled by as much as the number of optical fiber strands. The cylindrical members 4 assembled on a flat plate holding member 6 are placed side by side to let the cylindrical members 4 make close contact with each other and make close contact onto the flat plate holding member 6. These are then integrated by other mechanical means. Hence, these may be readily increased or decreased irrespective of the number of the optical fiber strands and the spacings between the optical fiber strands may be changed as desired.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a cylindrical lens by forming a symmetrical axis vertical to an optical axis including the center of reflected light of the same pattern as that of a parallel light to a focus detecting means and forming a photoelectric converting region symmetrical to the axis with inversion mutually to attain ease of position adjustment of a reflected light detector. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric converting regions 222a, 222b and a light dead band region 230 are formed as axial inversion symmetry while an effective diameter 220 of reflected light 106 on a track 209, that is, the vicinity of the center line of a circle of the same pattern as that of the parallel light 204 is used as a symmetrical axis 224. Thus, the irradiated area of the reflected light 106 on the photoelectric conversion regions 222a, 222b at the focusing position is equal, output signals 226, 227 are equal and an error signal 229 is zero. Thus, the direction of a condenser lens 101 to be moved is decided depending on the polarity of the error signal 229 and the distance to be moved is decided, then the position of the collected light spot 102 is focused always.
