    • PURPOSE:To provide a driver with a real feeling of distance to ensure safety in the driver's operation of backing up by electrically indicating several sets of markers in an overlapping manner on a TV monitor screen, and changing the position of markers suitably in response to the existing situation. CONSTITUTION:When there is an obstacle 11 in the rear of a vehicle, a distance sensor 6 measures the distance from the vehicle to the obstacle 11, and sends the data to CPU8 of a marker signal generating circuit 7. The CPU8 compares the data with indicated data memorized by ROM9. The indicated data responsive to the ROM9 are outputted to a monitor TV 2 through an interface 10. The obstacle 11 in the rear is shown on a screen 3 of the TV, and a marker 4 is also overlapped on it. When the obstacle comes closer by reversing the vehicle, a marker 4 remote from the obstacle 11 out of the marker 4 is erased. Therefore, the distance to the obstacle 11 can be recognized accurately.

    • PURPOSE:To release a driver from troubles to operate each operating switch for various operating devices and allow a safety driving of a vehicle by a method wherein a multitude of various operating devices mounted on the vehicle are controlled by a sound of commanding voice from the driver. CONSTITUTION:When an operating switch 3 is closed and a driver voices a predetermined voice coincided with a voice pattern memorized in a memory 2a of a decision circuit 2, a regulating portion 2c of the decision circuit 2 regulates an electric signal from a microphone 1 into a signal for comparison in a comparing portion 2b, and when the memory 2a and the regulating portion 2c are coincided, the decision circuit 2 derives a control signal and operates an operating device 5 through a relay 4. If the driver voices a voice except the predetermined voice, the decision circuit 2 will never derive the control signal and the operating device 5 will never be operated.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the lockup of an automobile, by operating a magnet plunger in response to the output signal of a rotation detecting and operating circuit for the rotating condition of each axle to control the action of a foot brake. CONSTITUTION:At quick and deep braking, a tire 1 is put at a standstill and the rotation of an axle 3 is stopped so that a gear pulser 4 does not generate a signal. As a result, a rotation detecting and operating circuit 7 finds out the standstill of the tire 1 and sends an output signal to a plunger drive circuit 8, which supplies electricity to an electromagnetic plunger 10 to operate it. For this reason, an actuator 13 is put into operation to buoy up a brake pedal 16 to forcibly disengage a foot brake. As a result, the tire 1 resumes rotation and avoids a slip. Because of the resumed rotation of the tire 1, the gear pulser 4 acts, so that the actuator 13 is put back out of operation, the brake pedal 16 is returned to the original position, and braking is performed. This process is repeated, thereby causinga pumping brake action.

    • PURPOSE:To display fuel costs together with traveling loci and to realize economical traveling by controlling the signals emitted from a measuring section for traveling loci and a measuring section for instantaneous fuel costs and performing color coded display according to the degrees of the fuel costs. CONSTITUTION:A traveling locus signal is specified from a measuring device 1 for traveling loci, and is transmitted to a display section 5 via a position information section 3. A traveling locus 5b is displayed in the central part of a road 5a. The fuel cost signal from a measuring section 2 for instantaneous fuel costs is derived therefrom and is supplied to a modulator 4 which modulates colors according to instantaneous fuel costs. The modulating signal is processed by the section 5, so that, for example, a code (a) indicates 10km/h in yellow, a code (b) 8km/h in green, and a code (c) 6km/h in red respectively. A fuel cost code 5c is provided in a part on the display surface of the section 5 so as to permit immediate identification of the rational fuel costs in the prescribed traveling loci.
