    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promotion method in which blood to be analyzed is coagulated quickly in such a way that a blood coagulation promotor having a possibility of influencing an analyzed value is not used as far as possible. SOLUTION: In a chamber 1, blood which is poured into a blood-collecting tube 3 is heated at 40 deg.C or lower so as to be coagulated. In this case, the blood- collecting tube 3 may be vibrated intermittently. In addition, it is preferable to use the blood-collecting tube 3 at least the inside surface of which is composed of an inorganic blood-coagulation promoting substance selected from, e.g. glass or silica. In this case, the inside surface of the blood-collecting tube 3 may be covered with the blood-coagulation promoting substance by a sol-gel method, or particles of the blood-coagulation promoting substance may be put into the blood-collecting tube 3. The inside surface of the blood-collecting tube 3 can be coated with a water-insuluble blood remover. In addition, when the blood is heated, a chamber 1, for blood-coagulation promotion, which is provided with a body 2, with a rack 4 which supports the blood-collecting tube 3 and with a heating means 8 which heats the supported blood-collecting tube 3 at a temperature of 40 deg.C or lower is used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the shock to the heavy phase of a liquid sample, make small and simplify the structure of a phase separating tube, increase its effective capacity, and improve the recovery percentage of the sample by forming a firm bulkhead at the boundary between the heavy phase and the light phase of the liquid sample with pellets and a phase separating sheet. SOLUTION: When the tube main body 16 of a phase separating tube containing blood 5, blood coagulation accelerator processed pellets 17b, unprocessed pellets 17 a, and a phase separating sheet 18 is centrifuged, the blood 5 is separated into blood serum 6 and blood clot 7, and the pellets 17a, 17b having the specific gravity smaller than that of the blood clot 7 are floated toward the boundary between the blood serum 6 and the blood clot 7. The phase separating sheet 18 (elastic body) having the specific gravity larger than that of the blood serum 8, liquid-nonpermeable, and having the diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of the tube main body 16 is sunk in close contact with the inner wall of the tube main body 16, and it is integrated with the pellets 17a, 17b to form a firm bulkhead at the boundary between the blood serum 6 and the blood clot 7. A gap is hardly generated between the sheet 18 and the pellets 17a, 17b, and the internal capacity of the tube main body 16 can be used nonwastingly and effectively.
