    • PURPOSE:To improve a crushing efficiency of a vertical crusher and save the manpower for a device such as a classifying machine connected to the vertical crusher by incorporating a mechanism for classifying fines in a starting material before crushing. CONSTITUTION:In the vertical crusher having a structure in which a starting material charged by a rotating rotor 5 is flown out in a horizontal direction and the starting material is made to collide with a colliding plate 7 fitted at an inside wall surface side of a casing 1 surrounding the rotor 5 to be crushed, a lower part of the casing 1 surrounding the rotor 5 is formed to a double structure to form an inner cylindrical part 8 and an outer cylindrical part 9. A screening air flow A crossing a flight direction B of the starting material flown out by the rotor 5 is allowed to flow in the inner cylindrical part 8, fines in the starting material are transported to the inner cylindrical part 8 by the screening air flow A, and a crushed matter after being crushed falls in the outer cylindrical part 9.

    • PURPOSE:To classify a material to be classified into a coarse powder and a fine powder by blowing up the material to be classified falling from a feeder toward an air exhaust port by a dispersing rotor to disperse the same, and allowing the coarse powder to fall to discharge the same from a coarse powder discharge port while discharging the fine powder from the air exhaust port along with an air stream. CONSTITUTION:The material to be classified supplied by a rotary feeder 3 is in a flocculated state but falls almost vertically as shown by an arrow A to be blown up toward an air exhaust port 6 by a dispersing rotor 4 to be dispersed. The fine powder in the material to be classified dispersed by the dispersing rotor 4 is carried to a fine powder classifying chamber 5 by an air stream, as shown by an arrow C, and discharged from the air exhaust port 6 along with the air stream. The coarse powder in the material to be classified falls almost vertically against the air stream under its own wt., as shown by an arrow D, to be discharged from a coarse powder discharge port 62.
