    • PURPOSE:To cast castings having different size under good energy efficiency by setting an inner cylinder having penetrating hole at upper part on a bottom plate of high pressure vessel to set a mold and casting under high pressure after closing the high pressure vessel while pouring molten metal in the inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The lower half part 1b of high pressure vessel 1 is laid on the bottom part 1c through a packing on the bottom plate 1c, the mold 3 having the prescribed shape and the inner cylinder 4 having the same cylindrical shape as the shape of mold 3 are set. Next, after pouring the molten metal 8 in the inner cylinder 4, the upper half part 1a of high pressure vessel 1 is laid on the lower half part 1b through a packing 6a, flange part 4a and packing 6b, to tightly close by clamping the die. Next, high pressure nitrogen gas is supplied through the high pressure gas supplying hole 2 and the inner part of high pressure vessel 1 is made to high pressure condition, to execute the pressurizing solidification. Then, the inner and outer pressure of inner cylinder 4 are become to the same by the through hole 7 of inner cylinder 4. In this way, even in case the shape of mold 3 is changed, as the inner cylinder 4 can prepare corresponding to the mold 3, the using quantity of molten metal may be reduced, and the energy efficiency is good.

    • PURPOSE:To easily and accurately prepare two types of tire molds according to a master model without requiring the cutting of burr or the discarding treatment thereof, by forming a tread pattern having no vent hole to an inner peripheral surface and forming an annular cast from a thin refractory plate. CONSTITUTION:Casting surfaces 4 due to thin refractory plates 3 extending in a radius direction are mounted on both sides. A large number split tread molding parts 5 having tread patterns 2 having no vent hole formed to the inner peripheral surfaces thereof are arranged in a mold main body in such a state that slits each having the interval almost equal to the thickness of each thin refractory plate are formed between the mutual casting surfaces. Thin refractory plates 3 having a thickness of 0.01-0.5 mm are held between a large number of split model 1 having tread patterns formed to the outer peripheral surfaces thereof so as to protrude in the direction to constitute an annular cast. A metal is cast in the outer periphery thereof and the parts corresponding to the thin refractory plates are cut from the outside to remove the thin refractory plates and respective cast pieces are separated. The split tread molding parts 5 thus obtained are mounted in the mold main body at the intervals almost equal to those of the thin refractory plates.
