    • PURPOSE:To disassemble a string of suspended insulators automatically into individual insulators using a robot by putting the caps of the foremost insulators of insulator strings coupled in horizontal direction in specified orientation, and decoupling from the second insulator while the cap of the foremost one is chucked and heaved. CONSTITUTION:A head 19 is inserted aslant between the shade for the foremost insulator of a string of insulators and the shade for the second insulator, and is revolved a certain angle round the axis of insulator string in the position where a photo-sensor 18 confronts the tip of the cap 3 and that a hand 15 faces its base. The photo-sensor 18 senses optically a U-shaped pin hole 24 in the cap 3, and at the same time, the hand 15 is shut to chuck the cap 3 base of the foremost insulator, and the cap is rotated so that the pin hole 24 lies in the specified position. A conveyor is advanced, and the cap 3 base of the foremost insulator is chucked by hand of No.2 robot. Then the foremost insulator is returned a little toward the second insulator 1, and coupling with a pin 4 is disengaged while heaving is made with a certain spaceousness reserved between the cap 3 of the foremost insulator and the pin 4 of the second insulator 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully automate tension test by, when measuring cap and pin positions after elevating and positioning a suspension insulator on a loading part on which the suspension insulator is set to a main body of a tension testing instrument having individually driven upper and lower tension jigs, controlling an operation of these instruments. SOLUTION: A suspension insulator 7 loaded on a loading part 8 in such a way that a cap 10 and a pin 11 are oriented downwardly and upwardly, respectively, is centered so that the center is aligned with a tension center of a fully automated tension testing instrument 1 and sent to home position by an elevation part 9. An upper tension jig 5 lowering based upon position information of the cap 10 and the pin 11 detected by a position measuring part grips the pin 11, and a rising lower tension jig 6 grips the cap 10. After tension test using a main body 4 of a tension testing instrument provided with a base 2 and a frame 3, the upper and lower tension jig 5 and 6 released from the pin 11 and the cap 10, respectively, are resin and lowered, and a suspension insulator 7 is restored to its retracted position. Operation of each device is controlled by means of a control part 13.

    • PURPOSE:To palletize works together with a wood frame by one robot by mounting a hand provided with a plurality of chucks capable of changing the pitch during work transfer on the top of a robot arm, and mounting an opening and closing type wood frame chuck on the end part of the hand. CONSTITUTION:Works W are sent to a work feed position A by a work feeding conveyor 1, and the centering of the work W is performed on the conveyor 1 by a centering mechanism 6. A robot arm 9 is moved to a palletizing position B to place four works W in the deep side of a pallet. When the change between the pitch of the works W on the conveyor 1 and the pitch of the works W in the position B is required, a chuck 11 is slid in the longitudinal direction of a hand 10 by a cylinder 12 during lifting and transferring the works W in the air by the arm 9 to change the pitch in the air. Then, the hand 10 is moved to a wood frame feed position C, its wood frame chuck claw is extended in the inner part of a wood frame F to chuck the wood frame F on the top stage. The wood frame F is placed on the works W arranged on the pallet by turning the arm 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect detection method of an insulator cap part in which automation of detection is possible and precise inspection of the defect of the cap part can be done, and appropriate quality control can be performed. SOLUTION: A jig fixture 5 is inserted from multiple directions between the cap part 2-1 and the cap part 2-2 of the insulator 2 and, by applying stress on the cap part, the defect of the cap part is detected. The device for implementing the defect detection method of the insulator cap part is constructed of a base table 4 for setting the insulator to be inspected, a plurality of jig fixtures 5 that are provided on the base table and constructed to be capable of inserting in and separating from between the cap part and cap part of the insulator set on it, a stress detection means 7 that is provided on the insulator set, and calculates the stress applied on between the cap part and cap part, and a control means 8 that controls the movement of the fixtures and detects the defect of insulator cap part based on the stress applied on between the cap part and cap part, that is calculated by the stress detecting means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably eliminate a delayed-fractured product as a defective product from a line by judging that a product is acceptable only when an internal pressure reaches a set pressure in a predetermined time and a differential value of the internal pressure when it drops does not exceed a set value. SOLUTION: If a hollow body W is delayed-fractured after an internal pressure reaches a set value, an inverse differential value of the internal pressure becomes extremely large. A second comparison means 9 issues an NG signal when an output from an inverse differentiation circuit 8 exceeds a set value. The NG signal is input via a self holding circuit 10 to a process controller 6 as a means for judging whether a product is acceptable. If the internal pressure of the hollow body W reaches a set pressure, only when an OK signal is input from a first comparison means 5 monitoring a rise in pressure and no NG signal is output from the self holding circuit 10, the product is judged to be acceptable. Therefore even if the OK signal is input from the first comparison means 5, if an NG signal is output from the second comparison means 9, the hollow body W is judged to be delayed-fractured, so that it is eliminated from a line as a defective product.
