    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connection strength between unit blocks, with improved anti-earthquake characteristics, and to make maintenance work easier while an installation space is effectively used by forming a recessed part on the upper surface of each case of a plurality of unit blocks, and forming a protruding part at the lower part of the case of the unit block. SOLUTION: Related to each unit block, a recessed part 5 is formed on the upper surface of a case of a unit block 9-2, while a protruding part 4 is formed at the lower part of the case of a unit block 9-1. A projection receiving part 8 is provided which engages a projection part 7 provided at the protruding part 4 with the projection part 7 provided at the recessed part 5. Mounting of the upper unit block 9-1 on the lower unit block 9-2 allows the protruding part 4 of the block 9-1 to surface-contact a recessed part 4 of the block 9-2, causing a guide reception part 2 of the block 9-2 to engage with a guide hole part 3 of the block 9-1, for pressing-in the block 9-1. Thus, the projection part 7 of the block 9-1 engages with the projection receiving part 8 of the block 9-2, preventing overturning of blocks in to-and-fro direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector-fixing structure for a connector fitted with cable, which ensures improved connector accessibility, reliability of connections, and neatness in the arrangement. SOLUTION: A connector-fixing structure includes a base 4, which is secured to the body of a device and provided at the main surface with a connector lead-in hole 17 having a smaller width than the width (w) of the connector 1, a pair of sidewalls 14 spread at a spacing wider than the connector width (w) in a direction perpendicular to the main surface, a pair of guide grooves 5 which are provided at the inner bent part at the forefront of each sidewall and guide the inserting/drawout operations of the connector upon engagement with the two sides of the connector, and a leaf spring member 7 which is secured to the main surface and puts the forefront bent part in engagement with the back surface of the connector in its fixed position. Accordingly, if the connector 1 which is fitted in an place outside is intruded into the guide groove 5, the tip bent part of the leaf spring 7 is latched at the back surface of the connector 1, which is thereby fixed. When the latch is set off, it is possible to pull out the connector 1 in a give condition.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability between a microcomputer and a device by detecting whether or not serial data transferred from a CPU has an error and transmitting only error-free data to the device. SOLUTION: An error detecting circuit 10 detects whether or not the serial data transferred from the CPU has an error and transmits only error-free data to the device. A command analysis block 11 of the error detecting circuit 10 decides whether serial data sent out of the microcomputer 20 is normal data or a data clear command. A comparator 13 compares data in fetch buffers 11a to 11c and a resending request block 14 sends a request to resend serial data to the microcomputer 20 when the compared data are discrepant. An STB decision block 12 decides which device the serial data are communicated to. A clock generating circuit 15 generates a clock needed for serial communication to be set to a device.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by preparing and setting the information of a new video display position while reflecting reference information in the main body of display device with a moving direction and a moving amount analyzed from input information with the information in the main body of display device set as a current video display position as a reference. SOLUTION: A control command (moving amounts in X and Y directions and click button information) is outputted from a mouse to a main body 1, of image display device. Then, an input information part 8 dispatches the received control command to an information analytic part 9 and the information analytic part 9 analyzes whether that command shows the selection of a menu item for picture control or a change amount corresponding to the current picture control menu item. Then, the analyzed result is converted into data for the control of the main body of image display device by a data converting part 10 for control, the data converted by the data converting part 10 for control are set by a control data setting part 11 and based on the set information, a video display part 12 displays a video.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately shift to an item to be adjusted in adjusting the various processings of a picture display device incorporated with an on-screen function on a screen. SOLUTION: This rotary switch device with pressure sensitive switch 1 is used as an adjusting input device. The adjusting item is allocated to the rotary position of the rotary switch on a one-to-one basis. An OR circuit 6 detects whether pressure sensitive output A is generated in a pressure sensitive switch detection part 2 or an information acquiring signal B from outside is detected in an information acquiring signal detection part 3. At that point, the position detection outputs (4 and 5) of the rotary switch are fetched in an AND circuit 7 and they are led out from a rotary switch output part with pressure sensitive switch 8 as information output C. Since the information output C corresponds to the adjusting item on a one-to-one basis, the adjusting item at that time can be displayed on the screen.
