CONSTITUTION:A logical device 17 provided on a satellite communication earth station 2 controls a modulator 18 so as to send a same signal 101 as a reception signal 102 sent from a satellite communication earth station 3 based on the condition such as the transmission of error information from an error detector 16, and the signal is outputted from an antenna 11 through an intermediate frequency amplifier 19, a transmission frequency modulator 20 and a transmission power amplifier 21 and received by its own station while being looped back by a reception level detector 15. The logical device 17 recognizes the down-link of its own station from the attenuation of the reception level with respect to the output level in its own station and the attenuation of the up-link of the opposite station is estimated from the attenuation of the reception signal level of the reception signal 102 from the opposite satellite earth station 3 and the attenuation of the down-link of its own station.

    • PURPOSE:To clear the analysis of junction points, by a method wherein fuming nitric acid containing a specified amount of concentrated sulfuric acid is used as a releasing liquid to retard the dissolution of copper, and epoxy coating is released before copper is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the internal analysis of a transistor, an epoxy coating is firstly released by applying fuming nitric acid. Instead of a releasing liquid of fuming nitric acid itself, a releasing liquid of fuming nitric acid mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid (98%) is used. The transistor is immersed in the releasing liquid and heated at 40-65 deg.C, the release reaction is enhanced. When the content of sulfuric acid is less than or equal to 5%, the effect to suppress the dissolution of copper is little, and when the content exceeds 20%, the damage of Al wiring of a pellet increases. The dissolution of copper is retarded, and release is enabled, without damaging junction points with parts so that the analysis is facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize the satellite power based on a supervisory signal by providing a transmission power control means receiving the output of a switching means and the output of the 1st detection means so as to control the transmission power of a transmission means. CONSTITUTION:Since a holding device 32 in a specific earth station A is in the passing state in the normal operation, a comparator 33 compares both outputs of detectors 30, 31, resulting that an output is sent to a transmission power controller 34, which applies the gain control of an intermediate amplifier 23. Since the transmission power control is a feedback control, an error based on gain fluctuation or the like caused in the transmission system is compensated by a sufficient control accuracy and the control making an effective isotropic radiation power constant in a satellite is ensured. On the other hand, a specific earth station B is operated in the estimation mode for almost periods and in the calibration mode at a proper time interval required to maintain the control accuracy. Thus, the consumption of satellite power based on the transmission of a supervisory signal is minimized.

At the same time, the station 10 sets the frequency of the transmision/reception parts 16 and 17 to receive the communication signals from the satellite communication earth stations and to return these signals. A repeater 30 owns a function to receive and return the common signal and also the communication signals. Each of stations 202 and 203 has a delay unit which sets the time to receive the common signal and then to transmit an answer signal based on reception delay data.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the catching time of satellite communication signals so as to effectively utilize a satellite line by receiving the communication signals after correcting the frequency deviation caused by a satellite on the transmission line of the communication signals before starting the communication. CONSTITUTION:A common signal demodulator 5 always receives a common signal from a control station and performs frequency control including the frequency deviation caused by a satellite. The frequency deviation information is contained in a VCO 55 and a frequency detecting section 56 detects the frequency deviation information 104 and sends the information 104 to a communication signal demodulator 13. At the demodulator 13, a frequency control section 58 superimposes the information 104 upon the output of a received signal demodulator 54 and uses the output with the superimposed information as the control voltage of the VCO 55. Accordingly, the receiving frequency control circuit section of the demodulator 13 corrects the frequency deviation by the satellite on the basis of the information 104. Therefore, the communication signal catching time is reduced, since only the frequency deviation of a satellite communication earth station must be taken into account at the time of receiving the communication signals.

When a fault takes place in the active communication equipment 2-1, the changeover of the active and standby equipment is implemented immediately. The time required for the changeover is almost the changeover time of an input signal changeover section and an output signal changeover section.

    • PURPOSE:To attain smooth switching without causing transient response by sending a prescribed control data from a storage means being an active system to a power control means immediately when a changeover control means is operated and a power supply relating to the active system is turned on. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that, e.g., a system (a) is switched into the active system, a selection register 201a receiving a switching command to the active system sends immediately a prescribed control data to its own adder 202a. The control data is generated by the system (b) and referred to as a system (b) control data. On the other hand, the system (a) control data based on the output of a detector 17a and the output of a latch 19a is inputted to an adder 202a. A desired control data taking an error on the characteristic of the system (a) into account to the system (b) data is formed to an adder 202a and it is fed to a transmission power controller 21a. The switching is similar even when the system (b) is switched and transmission controllers 21a, 21b apply gain control of an intermediate frequency amplifier based on the control data having nearly equal contents. Thus, the transmission power control is switched smoothly without causing a large transient response.
