    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquarium for subculture, keeping adult fish, young fish and eggs in the raising aquarium 20, and enabling the adult fish, the young fish and the eggs to be raised by correcting the flow of raising water to the adult fish, the young fish and the eggs. SOLUTION: The closed raising aquarium is separated to a raising chamber 1 and an egg-gathering chamber 3, and is in a type of separating the eggs from the raising chamber 1 in which the adult fish are present to the egg- gathering chamber 3 by controlling the flow of the raising water from the raising chamber 1 to the egg-gathering chamber 3. A movable mesh 7 for the adult fish which allows the young fish to pass but does not allow the adult fish to pass is installed in the raising chamber 1, and the size of the space for raising the adult fish and that of the space for raising the young fish are constituted so as to be controllable by the dislocation of the movable mesh 7 for the adult fish.     • PURPOSE:To obtain necessary information, e.g. the time when a cell arrives at a detector, while allowing indirect detection of the cell using absorptiometry by causing electrophoresis of the cell along with an easily detectable standard sample. CONSTITUTION:A capillary tube 1 is filled with a cell and a detecting marker. The tube 1 is partially wound around a cylindrical rod 4 having an appropriate diameter. An electrophoretic bath 3 is provided, on the bottom thereof, with a window 5 for detecting a cell arriving thereat. The electrophoretic bath 3 is coupled, at its lower part, with tubes 6 for sampling the cell and buffer liquid passed through the detection window 5 and the tubes 6 are coupled, at the other ends, with a peristaltic or a syringe type pump. When electrophoresis is conducted, a butter liquid suspending the cells is admixed with the detection marker (an easily detectable standard sample) and injected into the bath 3. A high concentration serum protein which does not interact with the cell is employed, for example, as the detection marker.

When voltage is impressed between both electrodes 4, 4, cations from the anode and anions from the cathode enter the electrophoretic chamber through the membranes 11, 12 in the upper part. In the lower part, anions enter the electrode chamber adjacent to the anode and cations enter the electrode chamber adjacent to the cathode because ion exchange membranes having opposite polarities are present and the concn. of ions in the electrophoretic chamber is kept nearly constant, so any electric current affects the concn. of ions in the electrophoretic chamber.

    • PURPOSE:To judge the forward and reverse rotations of a rotary gear and to obtain a flowmeter for two directions, by providing two pickups at an angle, which is smaller than 1/2 the angle between projections of the rotary gear of the turbine flowmeter, and comparing the delay time between the detections of the projections. CONSTITUTION:Projections are provided on the rotary gear of a turbine flowmeter at an angle theta2. Two pickups 13 and 14 are provided in the vicinity of the rotary gear. An angle theta1 between the pickups 13 and 14 has a relationship of theta1 t2. By detecting and comparing the times t1 and t2, the forward and reverse rotations of the rotary gear can be detected.
