摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate correction of mistyping by provision of a ribbon universal lever for operating a ribbon take-up device which operates simultaneously with the operation of a typing key, a back spacing key capable of returning a platen on a carriage to the position of mistyping, and a mistyping correction key. CONSTITUTION:Upon mistyping, a back spacing key 26 is depressed. With a mistyping correction key 37 dr depressed, a link 50 moves to project a projection portion 60 of a lever 61 into the rotational locus of a projection piece 16 of a lever having a holding claw for an escapement mechanism 10 through a steel wire 63, to hold the mechanism 10 in off-operation condition. On the other hand, the depression of the key 37 rotates an arm piece 40 counterclockwise through the link 50, an oscillating piece 56, and the like to raise a ribbon holder piece 43, thereby holding a white ribbon portion 49' at the level of a mistyped character K1. With a mistyped key depressed, the mistyped character is eliminated by typing through the white ribbon portion.

摘要： PURPOSE:To even the key depressing forces irrespective of the location of each key by a method wherein each key depressing operation is divided into the first depression where the key is stopped by its collision with a rod-shaped stopper and the second depression where the key is stopped at the bottom portion of a key guide slit. CONSTITUTION:When a one-action operating key belonging to a lower-stage group B, say a key 1, is depressed, the key 1 collides with a rod-shaped stopper 5 for the lower-stage group. Since the stopper 5 is being pushed upward by a spring 11, the depression of the key 1 is once stopped by the elastic force of the spring 11, during which a pawl 30 of a key lever 14 rotates counterclockwise on the sloped surface of a lever 27. In this case, since a projection 24 is present on the upper surface of the lever 27 and it enters into the rotational locus of the teeth 23 of a snatch roll 22, the projection 24 is kicked by the teeth 23 and moves to the position on the center line. Accordingly, the lever 18' is abruptly rotated to the position on the center line, so that the upper end of the lever 18' pulls a link 21 to rotate a type bar operating piece 20 counterclockwise, thereby conducting a printing operation or the like.
