An open hole 7 for communicating the upper cavity S1 and the lower cavity S2 surrounded by the lower peripheral wall 31 of the lower layer 3 is formed on a partitioning plate 6 between the upper layer 2 and lower layer 3. A resonance area, in which electromagnetic field distribution of the microwave M concentrates in a center, can be formed in the upper cavity S1, and the open hole 7 corresponds to a position of the resonance area.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing method for evaluating the magnitude of a contact noise dB (A) between tires and a road surface generated, when a vehicle normally travels on a pavement road surface.
      SOLUTION: The testing method brings down a plate onto the surface of a paving body under, stated criteria after stopping vertically on plate on the horizontal paving body to measure the magnitude of a sound generated by a noise meter at the time and analyze the measured value. Thereby the method evaluates the magnitude of the contacting noise between the tires and the road surface generated, when the vehicle normally travels on the pavement road surface. A level recorder or a real-time analyzer of a 1/3-octave band is employed for the evaluation analysis of the generated sound.
