    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a dielectric antenna to obtain a significant property improvement amount with respect to not only efficiency but also a reflection attenuation property at 500 MHz to 5 GHz, and a wireless communication device with the same.
      SOLUTION: A dielectric antenna 101 includes a molded body 10 formed of a composite material of dielectric ceramic and resin, and a flexible substrate 11 with a radiation electrode formed thereon. The composition ratio and the like of the molded body 10 are determined so that the Q value (Qd) thereof generated by a dielectric loss falls within a range of about 500 to about 1,500. The flexible substrate 11 is constituted by forming linear conductors 14, 15 or the like on a PET film. The linear conductors 14, 15 are branched in a branching part 13 near a power feeding part 12 and extend to releasing parts 14p, 15p in parallel with each other. The flexible substrate 11 is bonded to a surface of the molded body 10 by a viscous material or an adhesive agent. The Qd of the viscous material or the adhesive agent is from 10 or larger to 100 or smaller.
