    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for a tubular light source which can connect the tubular light source by one action, does not restrict a length of a lead, reduces spring properties of a terminal, has a simple structure, is inexpensive, and is suitable for automation.
      SOLUTION: The socket includes a terminal 21 connected to the lead 32 of the tubular light source 30, and a housing 11 provided with a tube support part 16 for supporting a tube body part 31 of the tubular light source 30. The terminal 21 is provided with a base part 22, a static cam part 26 connected to the base part 22 so as to elastically deform, and a contact part 27 deforming with the static cam part 26. The tube support part 16 is provided with a moving cam part 17 which engages with the static cam part 26, and is movably mounted on the terminal 21. The contact part 27 is provided with a lead holding part 27a for holding the lead 32 by opening and closing by movement of the tube support part 16.

Thereby the substrate 4 is put into movement approximating rectilinear movement from the middle of ejector action. so that the entire substrate 4 is moved.
