    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification apparatus capable of obtaining the leaking oxygen-free gasses at a cleaning step using the cleaning unit by preventing air from leaking from the outside thereof, in the gasification apparatus which is provided with a gasification furnace for gasifying a raw material to be gasified to produce gasses and a scrubbing unit for scrubbing the produced gasses, and to provide an ethanol producing facility for producing ethanol from the gasses.
      SOLUTION: The gasification apparatus 1 is provided with: the gasification furnace 2 which is provided with an opening 3 for supplying the raw material 5 to be gasified and in which a gasifying agent A is introduced through the opening 3 and the raw material 5 to be gasified is gasified to produce gasses G; the scrubbing unit 12 which is arranged at the downstream position of the gasification furnace 2 and is used for scrubbing the gasses G; a sucking/sending means 13 for sucking the gasses in a flow path from the opening 3 to an outlet of the scrubbing unit 12 and sending the sucked gasses G to another apparatus; a partition chamber 15 for blocking out the opening 3 of the gasification furnace from the atmosphere; and a gasifying agent supply means 16 for supplying the gasifying agent A having the pressure equal to or higher than the atmospheric pressure into the partition chamber 15.

In the gasification apparatus 1, the feed rate of the gasifying agent determining section determines whether the result of calculation of the reaction simulation device coincides with the desired gas composition or not and determines the feed rate of the gasifying agent as a set value, and the gasification apparatus is operated with the gasifying agent with the determined feed rate fed thereto.
