    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing resources from garbage which can denitrify a nitrogen compound without any catalyst by effectively using an ammonia compound in a digesting liquid, decompose organic compounds and a malodor components in the digesting liquid and treat garbage at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the method for producing resources from garbage having a methane fermentation vessel 12 fermenting methane, a treating system I for producing resources from biomass equipped with a desulfurization means 16 desulfurizing a biomass gas, an incinerator 2 incinerating burnable garbage, a gas cooling tower 3 and a treating system II for producing resources from burnable garbage equipped with an exhaust gas treating facility 5, the digesting liquid discharged from the methane fermentation vessel in the treating system I for producing resources from biomass is transferred to the gas cooling tower 3 in the treating system II for producing resources from burnable garbage and is thermally decomposed at a temperature of 800°C or higher.
