SOLUTION: There is provided a temperature-sensitive polyamino acid derivative wherein a solution or gel of the polyamino acid derivative has a clouding point. The polyamino acid derivative causes reversibly sol-gel transition at a specific temperature, or dissolves in a solvent below a specific temperature and is insolubilized due to the discontinuous reduction of solubility above the phase transition temperature. The polyamino acid derivative has biodegradability in living organisms and under external environment. Typically, it is a polyaspartic acid derivative.
