    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene-based polymer excellent in moldability, and mechanical strength and environmental breaking stress resistance, and capable of giving a molded article excellent in appearance, especially a blow-molded article. SOLUTION: This ethylene-based polymer containing 0.02-0.50 mol% constituting unit introduced from a 6-10C α-olefin is provided by satisfying any one or more of the following (1) and (2) in its cross fractionation chromatography (CFC). (1) The amount of eluted components at ≤80°C is ≤5% based on the total eluted amount in the CFC. (2) A relational formula (Eq-1) [wherein, S x is the total value of areas of total peaks based on the components eluted between 70-85°C; S total is the total value of areas of total peaks based on the components eluted between 0-145°C] is satisfied.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ethylene polymer which is excellent in moldability, is fractured in a ductile mode and is particularly excellent in long-life characteristics. SOLUTION: This ethylene polymer has an intrinsic viscosity [η] (dl/g) of 2.7-4.1 as measured in decalin at 135°C, a density (d) (kg/m 3 ) of 952-962 kg/m 3 for a sample which is straightly cooled down to room temperature in one hour after one hour annealing at 120°C as measured using a density gradient tube, a weight-average molecular weight(Mw)/number-average molecular weight (Mn) ratio of at least 11 and at most 50 as measured by GPC (gel permeation chromatography), and the actual stress (S) (MPa) of 19.4-27.2 when the number of cycles until breakage in the tensile fatigue characteristics is measured at 23°C is 10,000.
