SOLUTION: This method for producing the rubber composition is characterized by feeding a rubber mixture (E) comprising 100 pts. wt. of the ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene copolymer rubber (A) and 3 to 10 pts. wt. of an organic solvent (D) from a supply portion of a multistage vent-having extruder into the extruder, and also feeding the polyolefin resin (B) from another supply portion into the extruder in an atmosphere of an inert gas, thereby kneading the rubber mixture (E) with the polyolefin resin (B) and removing the solvent.
