    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin for an adhesive, excellent in heat resistance, resistance to moisture heat, and transparency, and to provide a method for producing the same.
      SOLUTION: In this method for producing the polyester resin from a dicarboxylic acid and a glycol through processes of esterification reaction and polycondensation reaction, the esterification reaction or the polycondensation reaction is conducted so that a polyalkylene glycol ether having a molecular weight of ≥1500 and a number of carbon atoms in a repeating unit of ≥3 is added as a glycol component in such an amount that the obtained polyester resin contains the polyalkylene glycol ether in an amount of 1-10 mol% based on the total glycol component and a mol ratio of the glycol component to a carboxylic acid component is made to be 1.8 or more. The polyester resin for the adhesive is obtained by the method. Further, the adhesive and a laminated product are obtained, respectively.
