    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon fiber bundle that is capable of decreasing a variation of yarn widths in the fiber axis direction in a carbon fiber bundle impregnated with sizing agent liquid and further uniformizing the yarn widths between a plurality of carbon fiber bundles that are treated in parallel.SOLUTION: The method for producing a carbon fiber bundle impregnated with sizing agent liquid includes a sizing treatment process in which a plurality of carbon fiber bundles travelling in parallel are immersed in sizing agent liquid, and then the plurality of carbon fiber bundles immersed in the sizing agent liquid are drawn up via a drawing up roller arranged in a position higher than the liquid level of the sizing agent liquid and are then subjected to a drying treatment. In the sizing treatment process, a film of the sizing agent liquid formed between adjoining carbon fiber bundles among the plurality of carbon fiber bundles after the plurality of carbon fiber bundles come out from the liquid level of the sizing agent liquid is removed before the plurality of carbon fiber bundles travel an intermediate point of a travel path which the plurality of carbon fiber bundles travel from the point where the plurality of carbon fiber bundles exit the liquid level of the sizing agent liquid to the point where they contact the drawing up roller.
