      SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes a hole injection layer and a light emission layer between an anode and a cathode. The hole injection layer contains a conductive polymer (A) having an acid group, and an aromatic ring and/or conjugated heterocyclic ring in a main chain. The number of the acid groups in the conductive polymer (A) is 55-400% against a total number of the aromatic rings and/or the conjugated heterocyclic rings.
