    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a laminated porous film that has excellent air permeation characteristics and mechanical strength, and exerts breakdown characteristics superior to that of conventional polypropylene porous films.SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing a laminated porous film formed by laminating porous layers of at least a first layer and a second layer. The method comprises: laminating the first layer and the second layer thereby producing a laminated non-porous film; and making the laminated non-porous film porous, wherein the first layer comprises a composition formed by mixing a thermoplastic resin having a crystal melting peak temperature of 170°C or higher with a polypropylene resin blended with a β-crystal nucleating agent and has β-activity and/or β-crystal formation power, and wherein the second layer comprises a composition in which the thermoplastic resin having a crystal melting peak temperature of 170°C or higher is not mixed with the polypropylene resin blended with the β-crystal nucleating agent and has β-activity and/or β-crystal formation power.
