摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output control device of an internal combustion engine which can certainly control the engine speed and the engine output without increasing torque shock when an intake-air adjustment means is out of order.
SOLUTION: The output control device of an internal combustion engine comprises the intake-air adjustment means which adjusts the amount of intake air supplied to a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, a fuel adjustment means which adjusts the amount of fuel supplied to the combustion chamber, and an operating condition detecting means which detects the operating condition. The output control device further comprises a control means. Based on the output from the operating condition detecting means, the control means controls the intake-air adjustment means so that stratified combustion may be performed within a range of a first air-fuel ratio leaner than the theoretical air-fuel ratio in a first operation region, and controls the intake-air adjustment means and the fuel adjustment means so that premixed combustion may be performed within a range of a second air-fuel ratio. The output control device furthermore comprises an abnormality correspondence means which controls the fuel adjustment means so that the stratified combustion may be performed even in a second operation region when the intake-air adjustment means is judged to be abnormal under such a condition that the intake air can be introduced through the intake-air adjustment means.

SOLUTION: This evaporation purging system purges absorption fuel absorbed in a canister to an intake pipe 11 of an engine 13 via a supply pipe 19, by absorbing evapotranspiration gas from a fuel tank 15 in the canister 17 via a discharge pipe 16; and has a pressure sensor 25 for detecting pressure in an evaporation passage including the fuel tank, a pressure reducing means for reducing pressure in the evaporation passage by negative pressure generated in the intake pipe, by closing a vent control valve 20 arranged in an atmospheric opening port of the canister, a reciprocating means for reciprocating in the evaporation passage, by closing a purge control valve 18 arranged in the supply pipe, after operation of the pressure reducing means, and an electronic control unit 26 as a failure determining means for permitting a failure diagnosis of the evaporation purging system, on the basis of output of the pressure sensor, even in an operation state of causing the sloshing, on condition of operating the pressure reducing means and the reciprocating means in a plurality of times, for filling up the inside of the evaporation passage with the evapotranspiration gas.

Thus, since the amount of oxygen which corresponds to the increase in fuel oil consumption can be ensured by supercharging, an air-fuel mixture with a proper air-fuel ratio is formed around an ignition plug also in the higher load B area, and thus stratified combustion becomes possible.

SOLUTION: Cam shafts 12, 13 are provided along the train direction of cylinders 6 on a cylinder head 3, and multiple bearings rotatably supporting the cam shafts 12, 13 are integrally formed. A cam cap 4 having a ladder frame shape and rotatably supporting the cam shafts 12, 13 is fixed, a suction auxiliary port 20 is formed in the cam cap 4, one end 20b of the suction auxiliary port 20 is connected to the other end 8a of a suction port 8, and an intake manifold 35 is connected to the other end 20a. The noises generated in an engine can be prevented from being leaked to the outside, the number of assembling man- hours is reduced, and the assembling accuracy can be improved.
