      3 powder is sintered at a high temp. of 1,800W 2,700°C in vacuum or an inert gaseous atmosphere. A superheat-resistant sintered alloy contg. 10W65% (Ti, W) CN which is a hard phase forming component, 0.01W1.0% MgO, and further 0.5W10.0% ≥1 kind of Al

      3 and consisting of the balance W which is a bond phase forming component and unavoidable impurities is thus obtd. The alloy has high hardness and is highly resistant to wear, plastic deformation and impact respectively and is therefore suitable for a hot working tool such as cutting tool.

    • PURPOSE: To provide the titled sintered alloy showing excellent antiwear property as well as not injuring an opposed member, especially, when it is used in a slide member applied with high surface pressure which contains C, Cr, P, Mn, Mo or/and Ta in a predetermined ratio respectively and comprises the remainder of Fe.
      CONSTITUTION: A carbide dispersed type iron base sintered alloy contains, in the wt% basis, 0.5W3.0% C, 5.0W20.0% Cr, 0.1W5.0% P, 0.05W3.0% Mn, 0.05W 10.0% Nb or/and Ta and comprises the remainder of Fe and inevitable impurities. Further, in the aformentioned contained components, according to necessity, 0.5W 10.0% Mo or/and W or/and one or more of Ni, Co and Cu is contained. Said sintered alloy has excellent anti-wear property, scuffing proofness and antipitching property and, especially, when used in a movable valve type member of an internal combustion engine to which high surface pressure is applied, exhibits extremely excellent performances and stable use is ensured over a long period of time.
