A third jack 13 is arranged on the second lifting stage 16, and the upper end of the third jack 13 is joined to the four corners of a third lifting stage 17. First guide pipes 21 and 22, second guide pipes 25 and 26 and third guide pipes 14 and 18 are arranged for enhancing strength against a horizontal load. A storage hole is arranged in the base 10, the first lifting stage 15 and the second lifting stage 16 so that the second jack 12, the third jack 13 and the third guide pipe 14 can be stored when contracting the multistage type lift.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tower construction method for an observation tower, which is constructed by dispensing with a large scale crane and using only minimum necessary heavy equipment, and contributes to reduction of a work yard in an observation tower construction field and minimization of using area in peripheral roads, to thereby minimize an influence on a peripheral area.
      SOLUTION: The tower construction method is composed of an elevating first step and an elevating second step. In the elevating first step, an elevating apparatus 7 is supported by a support bent 8 and extended to elevate the tower 3, followed by inserting a tower forming member 4 making up a unit forming the tower 3, into an area under the elevated tower 3, to thereby couple the tower 3 and the tower forming member 4 with each other. In the second elevating step, the elevating apparatus 7 is supported by the tower 3 and contracted to elevate the support bent 8, followed by inserting a support bent forming member 9 making up a unit forming the support bent 8, into an area under the elevated support bent 8, to thereby couple the support bent 8 and the support bent forming member 9 with each other. Thus by repeatedly carrying out the elevating first step and the elevating second step, the tower 3 is constructed.

      SOLUTION: A large head descending device 15, a discent vent 13 composed of a plurality of vents 16 and a support vent 17 composed of a plurality of vents 16, are provided between an under surface of a bridge girder 10 and the ground surface 11. The large head descending device 15 is arranged in an upper part of the descent vent 13. An upper part of the large head descending device 15 and an upper part of the support vent 17, are joined to an under surface of the bridge girder 10. The bridge girder 10 is lowered and removed by alternately removing the vent 16 existing in the lowest part of the descent vent 13 and the vent 16 existing in the lowest part of the support vent 17 by using the large head descending device 15. A pier 100 is removed by this method.
