    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for detecting seawater leak and a steam turbine unit for a steam system capable of confirming and analyzing a generation state of a seawater leak.SOLUTION: Salinity measuring means 12A is installed at an inner surface side of a manhole 11 and has a collection section 14 on an upper surface opening 14a to collect a salt content 13, to be generated by a seawater leak, together with steam drain 15 to be generated when a unit is shut down. Thus, a device for detecting a seawater leak can evaluate contamination and failure states in a steam system due to the seawater leak immediately after the unit is put into a state of short-term shutdown.
