    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the motor trip of a driving device which moves an irradiation device for applying therapeutic radiation, and to highly accurately move the irradiation device. SOLUTION: The radiotherapy apparatus controller includes: an irradiation object detection part for calculating a target position 131 on the basis of a specified part position at which a specified part is arranged inside a subject; and a swing position control part for controlling the driving device which moves the irradiation device so that the irradiation device which applies the therapeutic radiation is turned to a corrected target position 132. The corrected target position 132 indicates a position closer to a position to which the irradiation device 16 is turned than to the target position 131 in a preparation period 96 before a treatment period, and indicates the target position 131 during the treatment period 97.
