    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for analyzing the quality of a sample water being supplied to a thermal power plant or a nuclear power plant in which ammonia impeding determination and accelerating deterioration of a chromatography column is removed efficiently from the sample water for determining trace impurities when cationic and/or anionic impurities at ppb level are determined by ion chromatography.
      SOLUTION: The sample water is heated at a temperature of 70-90°C and subjected to aerated with an inert gas, air or carbon dioxide gas in order to remove ammonia in the sample water. Subsequently, trace impurities in the sample water are quantitatively determined by ion chromatography.
