    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg lamination head which can press only the cutting piece of a prepreg sheet which is stuck/laminated to/on the piece to be laminated of a laminated body (work) by a lamination shoe and can exactly position the cutting piece at a prescribed position and an automatic prepreg lamination device equipped with the prepreg lamination head. SOLUTION: The prepreg lamination head for laminating the prepreg sheet 8 by turning the fiber direction T2 in the direction crossing the length direction T1 of a prepreg laminate is constituted by being provided with a pair of guide rollers which are arranged respectively on both outside sides in the width direction of the laminated body W and guide the prepreg sheet 8 to be laid over the laminated body W and the lamination shoe 31 which is arranged forward/backward movably in the fiber direction T2 between the guide rollers and presses the prepreg sheet 8 guided between the guide rollers from the side of one surface to stick it to the laminated body W.       SOLUTION: This preform manufacturing method for manufacturing a fiber reinforced plastic structure has a base material preparing process (1) for cutting a base material comprising reinforcing fibers into a predetermined shape, a base material holding process for holding the portion, which becomes a planar portion when the preform is molded, of the prepared base material, a pressing/shaping process (3) for moving a plurality of partial shaping means, which are used for forming a part of the cross-sectional shape of the preform, to the portion other than the holded portion of the base material to press and shape that portion so as to form the same into the shape of the preform to be molded, a pressing/heating process (4) for pressing and heating the base material having a predetermined shape to fix the same and a trimming process (5) for trimming the end parts of the thermally fixed base material to mold the preform having a final shape.
