    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a camera checking system and a checking camera for a processing facility, which can safely check reprocessing facility under radiation contamination conditions by remote control, attain low costs and have a long life and high reliability.
      SOLUTION: This camera checking system 1 of the reprocessing facility which is attached by suspending it from a crane fitted in lengthwise and crosswise freely running manner on an upper part of a cell wall (a) of the reprocessing facility, which has the checking camera 2 hung by a hanging means 9 from a turning hanging tool (c) having a function allowing driving and rotating around a hanging core (b), which transmits and receives image signals and operation signals of the checking camera 2, and which checks the images picked up by the checking camera 2 outside the cell. The checking camera 2 is equipped with a CCD camera 3, a drive mechanism 4 which drives the CCD camera 3 in the direction of tilt, a lighting lamp 14 which illuminates the front part of the lens of the CCD camera 3, and a camera case 6. By rotating the turning and hanging tool (c), a panning direction move of the checking camera 2 is performed.
