摘要： PURPOSE:To utitlize the exhaust gas energy to the maximum limit by controlling the output of a shipboard generator driven by an AC motor energized through a frequency converter from the output of an axial generator driven by a main engine in response to the insufficient power of an exhaust gas turbine generator. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas economizer 3 recovers the heat of exhaust gas 2 of a main propelling diesel engine 1 and supplies it to a steam turbine 7 for driving a turbine generator 9. The propelling shaft 10 of the engine 1 is connected to an axial generator 14 through an accelerating gear 12. The output of the generator 14 is supplied to an AC motor 16 for driving a shipboard generator 17 through a thyristor frequency converter and a controller 15. A turbine generator generation power insufficient detector 20 detects the lack of the generated power of the generator 9 and controls the thyristor frequency converter and the controller 15.

摘要： PURPOSE:To recover the power generated by AC rotary unit corresponding to respective speed to the power source bus line by converting in a given frequency by a system wherein AC rotary unit corresponding to two speeds of the main engine is coupled with the main engine through a clutch. CONSTITUTION:Two speeds control main engine 1 is coupled with a variable pitch propeller 4 through a reduction gear 3. The reduction gear is separately coupled with AC rotary units 7, 8 corresponding to high speed and low speed of the main engine through the clutches 10, 11, an the said AC rotary units 7, 8 are coupled with the motors 5, 6 through the clutches 9, 11. AC rotary units 7, 8 are respectively coupled with the power source bus line through a change-over switch 15 and a static frequency converter 16. For example, the power generated by AC rotary unit 7 during high speed rotation of the main engine may be recovered to the power source bus line 20 with a stable frequency through the static frequency converter.

摘要： PURPOSE:To economize fuel cost by making a plurality of clutches provided in a propelling system detachable in accordance with a driving mode. CONSTITUTION:In ordinary navigation, a main engine 1 is driven by a substantially rated rotational number. In this state, a driving mode A is selected, and an AC rotating machine 7 supplies an AC power of a specific voltage and a specific frequency to a power source bus 18 through a frequency converter 14. Particularly, when the sea surface is calm, a driving mode D is selected since the variation in the rotational number of the propeller 4 is small. In this case, since the AC output of the AC rotating machine 7 is supplied to a DC source bus 18 not through the frequency converter 14, difficulties such as generation of waveform strain, lowering of efficiency and the like can be evaded by no way of the frequency converter 14 and surplus circuits. By selecting the driving mode in correspondence to the navigation state as described above, economization of fuel cost due to the shaft power generating system can be performed.

Besides, the said reduction gear 3 is coupled with AC rotary unit 7 corresponding to high speed operation of the main engine 1 through the clutches 10, 12 in conjunction with AC rotary unit 8 for low speed operation, and respective AC rotary unit 7, 8 is coupled with the motors 5, 6 through the clutches 9, 11. A power source bus bar 17 is used to recover the generating power produced from AC rotary machine which is driven at high speed or low speed, where the starter 13 allows AC rotary machine 8 to drive as a motor in case of malfunction of the main engine.
