    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power synthetic amplifier that can be easily accomplished over a wide band and with high efficiency.
      SOLUTION: The power synthetic amplifier is provided which includes: a class-B operational transistor 3 provided in one of two paths to which a predetermined input signal is distributed, for amplifying the input signal; a class-C operational transistor 4 provided in the other path, for amplifying the input signal; and a T branch 11 for synthesizing output power of the class-B operational transistor 3 and output power of the class-C operational transistor 4. The output power of the class-B operational transistor 3 is sent to the T branch 11 via a first isolator 9, and the output power of the class-C operational transistor 4is sent to the T branch 11 via a second isolator 10. A load impedance of the class-B operational transistor 3 is settled to a fixed value by the first isolator 9, and a load impedance of the class-C operational transistor 4 is settled to a fixed value by the second isolator 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power synthesis type high-frequency amplifier, capable of attaining characteristics of high output, high efficiency and high gain, even in a condition in which input/output impedance is not open, when a peak power amplifying transistor is off.
      SOLUTION: A first branched line 3 and a second branched line 4 are connected in parallel between an input-side power-distributing means 1 and an output-side power-distributing means 2, a carrier power amplifying transistor 5 is connected to the line 3, and a peak power amplifying transistor 7 is connected to the line 4. A first 1/4 wavelength line 18 and a first input-matching circuit 19 are connected in series with the input side of the transistor 5. A first output-matching circuit 20 is connected to the output-side of the transistor 5. A second input-matching circuit 21 is connected to the input-side of the transistor 7. A second output-matching circuit 22 and a second 1/4 wavelength line 23 are connected in series with the output-side of the transistor 7.

      SOLUTION: A control value when levels of a signal component of a main amplifier 512 and a signal external component of a subordinate amplifier 518 become minimum and a coefficient used to approximate a relation with current temperature data in the form of a cubic polynomial are recorded in coefficient memories of signal processing units 1 and 2. When a power source is turned on or when a temperature variation is detected, processors of the signal processing units 1 and 2 solve the cubic polynomial from the temperature data and the coefficient read out of the coefficient memories and control a control system of the main amplifier 512 and subordinate amplifier 518 according to the arithmetic result to minimize the level of the signal external component.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed forward type distortion compensation amplification device capable of removing distortion components regardless of width of the frequency band of input signals.
      SOLUTION: The input signal delayed by a relay circuit (DL) 5 and the input signal amplified by a main amplifier 2 are synthesized by a CDC7. Then the synthesized signal is taken out by a CDC8, which is separated into the signals of prescribed frequencies by band pass filters 20 and 22. The separated two signals are synchronous-detected with the input signal or its orthogonal signal at synchronous detection circuits 21 and 23, which are converted to control signals at a signal processing circuit 24, and fed back to the main amplifier 2. Thus, by adjusting gain or phase, or both, of the main amplifier 2, a distortion component is accurately extracted.
