    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a wavelength conversion member on a general light emitting device having no structure for mounting the wavelength conversion member, and to facilitate mounting the wavelength conversion member on the light emitting device.
      SOLUTION: The light emitting device 200 includes a board 2 for mounting a light emitting element 1, a reflector 3 facing upward from a mounting surface of the light emitting element 1 so as to surround the light emitting element 1 and having a reflecting surface 3-2 where an upper end becomes an opening 3-1 and mounted on the board, a cover 4 mounted on the reflector 3 and covering the opening 3-1 of the reflector 3, and a color conversion member 5 having a color conversion surface 6 for changing a wavelength of light emitted from the light emitting element 1 and mounted on the reflector 3. The reflector 3 has a cover holding-down claw section 7 which can attach and detach the cover 4 to the reflector 3. The color conversion member 5 is mounted on the reflector 3 in connection with mounting of the cover 4 on the reflector 3, and is removed from the reflector 3 in connection to removing of the cover 4 from the reflector 3.
