The variable diaphragm device 12 is equipped with shielding members 19 and 24 rotated by a stepping motor 15, and of which rotation ranges are mechanically limited. A phase of the stepping motor 15 while the shielding member 19 is positioned at an end of the rotation range, is specified as a predetermined phase.

Since the exhaust direction from the exhaust port 21 is controlled in accordance with a direction where the human body is detected by the human body detection sensor 4, noise of the exhaust fan hardly travel to the viewer, and air discharged from the exhaust port is prevented from reaching the viewer. Thus a satisfactory viewing environment is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide recording signals which are suitable to a high density recording by generating an information string that is generated by adding one control bit to a (k) bit impressed information string in order to add pilot signals. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a circuit 1 which adds control bit 0 or 1 to an impressed information string, a modulator 2, a circuit 3 which adds a known information train to the information train, a circuit 4 which performs a frequency analysis of the train, a memory 5 which temporarily stores the analysis result, a comparator 6, a circuit 7 which selects an output and a memory 8 which records plural modulated strings. Zero or 1 control signal is added to the impressed information string for every 24 bits by the circuit 1, the string is inputted to the I-NRZI modulator 2 and outputted at an Fch frequency as a modulated string with a word which has 25 bits. On the other hand, the generated pilot frequency is 1/150 of the Fch and corresponds to equivalent of six words (150divided by 25=6) where one word has 25 bits. A spectrum of Fch/150 frequency is obtained against all 26 combinations of 0 and 1 control bits which are added to one period of pilot signals, store them in the memory 8 and pilot signals are generated by obtaining a largest modulated string which has a largest power and by impressing it to the output.
