    • PURPOSE:To make the level of leakage magnetic flux quantity detected by a read detector uniform and to improve information reading accuracy by detecting magnetic fluxes at positions different from each other near a magnetizer and controlling the magnetizer so that the level of magnetization in the write area of a base material may be made uniform. CONSTITUTION:In an information reader 4 for reading information bit 3 written in a steel plate 2, the level of magnetization of the steel plate 2 is made uniform so as to improve the reading accuracy. Namely, a winding 6 constituting the magnetizer 7 is divided into two windings 6A and 6B and controlled with a current supplied from a control part 9. A Hall element 10 functioning as a magnetization detector is arranged near both ends of the electromagnetic core 5 of the magnetizer 7 and controls a current from the control part 9 so as to make the outputs of both Hall elements 10 equal. Thus, the level of the magnetization of the steel plate 2 is made uniform over all the area in an information write area. As a result, the levels of the outputs of the respective Hall elements 8 are made uniform, information bit is accurately discriminated and the reading accuracy is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To execute satisfactory beam machining of the quality being free from a melted and resolidified layer and a burr by irradiating a work by an energy beam in an atmosphere in which the degree of vacuum is the degree of vacuum or above by which a component contained in said work shows a sublimation property. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 2 from a laser oscillator 1 is condensed to the working surface 15 of a work 14 by a condensing lens 3, the working surface 15 is melted and evaporated by its high density energy and a hole 18 is pierced. In the beam machining the work 14 is placed in a vacuum chamber 10, and is irradiated with the laser beam through a laser beam take-in use window 11. Also, the inside of the vacuum chamber 10 is filled with an atmosphere in which the degree of vacuum is raised to the degree of vacuum or above by which a component contained in the work 14 shows a sublimation property. As a result, by irradiating the laser beam 2, the component is sublimated and high pressure is generated in the inside of an irradiated area. By its pressure, an adjacent molten area and a bulk-like part are scattered, and a worked hole 18 being free from a melted and resolidified layer and a burr is obtained.
