    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for a molded article left in a mold which can detect the left molded article certainly and rapidly even in a mold having a large number of parts to be detected.
      SOLUTION: The detector is composed so as to detect the presence of the molded article left in the mold for molding the molded article in its molding hole part. An inspection head 4 which can approach the mold or can be separated from the mold has a fixed plate 9, a movable plate 8 which faces the fixed plate 9 and can approach the fixed plate 9, and a detection sensor 7 for detecting the positional change of the movable plate 8 in relation to the fixed plate 9. The movable plate 8 has a detection pin 6 which can be brought into contact with the molded article left in the mold on the side of its one surface 8a. The detection pin 6 is brought into contact with the remaining molded article by the approaching action of the detection head 4 to the mold. When the movable plate 8 approaches the fixed plate 9, the detection sensor 7 is operated to detect the presence of the remaining molded article.

      SOLUTION: A connector 12 for inspection to receive a counter connector C is fixed on a substrate 11 of an inspection unit 3. Further, the connector 12 is provided with a lock arm 14 and an eject pin 15, which are actuated by electromagnetic solenoids 16. and is provided with LED lamps on a surface of the substrate 11. By installing such an inspection unit 3 on an inspection table, inspection preparation for the wire harness is completed. In inspection, inspection conditions are inputted into an inspection circuit, and the inspection circuit is inspected by sequentially actuating the electromagnetic solenoids 16 and the LED lamps according to the inspection conditions.
