    • PURPOSE: To rotate smoothly a subordinate lens by rotating the subordinate lens between its operation position and stand-by position through a cam which is formed along the front-rear movement path of a subordinate lens supporting rotating body and a cam follower which slides on it in abutting relation.
      CONSTITUTION: The subordinate lens supporting rotating body 70 which supports the subordinate lens CL in one body is equipped with an arm 70b having a pin 70a and a projection 70c, and supported on a shutter unit 24 so that it rotates around a shaft 71; the rotating body rotates between the operation position set in an optical path of photography and the stand-by position off the optical path of photography, and is so energized by a spring as to rotate to the operation position. The projection 70c abuts on a stopper 32b provided to a movable light shield cylinder 32 to control the operation position of the subordinate lens CL, a changeover lever 72 has a two-pronged arm consisting of branch parts 72a and 72b and the cam follower 72c which engages the teleconverter operating cam 20c, and the cam follower 72c is pressed elastically against the operating cam 20c by a spring. While the movable light shield cylinder 32 is moved to the stand-by position, the subordinate lens CL rotates clockwise against its energizing force and is held at the stand-by position.

      CONSTITUTION: A camera has a regulating means consisting of a photographing lens 4, finder window 6, main lens ML, sub-lens CL, motor 36. A projection 20d, and a front plate 88. The main lens ML is moved by the motor 36 ins accordance with the output of an automatic focusing device. When the movement of the main lens ML is forcedly stopped, the driving of the motor 36 is automatically stopped. When the main lens ML is located on a prescribed position such as the 1st or 2nd focal distance, the main lens ML is forcedly stopped by a regulating means consisting of the projection 20d and the front plate 88, so that the driving of the motor 36 is stopped.

    • PURPOSE: To secure the operation of a lens barrier by associating the lens barrier with its operating member only when a main lens is at a rear position and closing the lens barrier after the operating member is moved to an open setting position and then the main lens is moved back.
      CONSTITUTION: The leg 122b of an operating plate 122 does not engage the slanting leg 18a of the operating member 18 in a long and a standard focus state, and energizing force which operates on the operating plate 122 is larger than force which closes the lens barrier 120, which is held at its open position. When the standard state (b) is switched to a barrier closure state, the root part of the slanting leg 18a moves a leg 122b to left and the barrier 120 moves to its closure position. When the long focus position (a) is switched to the barrier closure state, the barrier 120 is open. Then, when the operating plate 122 moves down in a figure as it moves to behind a movable lens barrel 22, the leg 122b slides to left in the figure because the slanting leg 18a has a cam surface 18b formed slanting to an optical axis, thereby allowing the barrier 120 to rotate to the closure position.

The T11A operates as a rotating member and is coupled pivotally with the holder for a main lens ML by a lens driving link 78A together with a movable light shield tube 32 which moves forth and back in one body to constitute a mechanism which include the T11A as a crank, so that the main lens holder is moved forth and back by this crank mechanism. Further, the rotation of the motor 36 is transmitted to the T11A while reduced in speed.
