    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a mold for molding a spectacle lens into a convex mold and a concave mold while leaving the spectacle lens quickly and selectively in a specific side mold by such treatment that a load is not imposed on a base stock.
      SOLUTION: In the method for separating the mold for molding the spectacle lens, a polymerizable monomer composition is polymerized in the mold for molding the spectacle lens, the mold having the convex mold and the concave mold, then the mold is separated into the convex mold and the concave mold. The method comprises: the first step of fixing the periphery of the convex mold and exerting such a force that the back face of a convex molding plane is pressed to make the curvature thereof larger temporarily; and the second step of fixing the periphery of the concave mold and exerting such a force that the back face of a concave molding plane is pressed to make the curvature thereof smaller temporarily.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an ophthalmic lens that does not generate an air bubble in fitting one mold having a light blocking substance on a lens formation side into other mold and curing a lens formation liquid between both the molds by being irradiated with light, to provide an ophthalmic lens manufactured by the manufacturing method, and further to manufacture a safe and high quality ophthalmic lens in a short time, at an inexpensive cost and with a high yield in the manufacturing method and to provide the ophthalmic lens manufactured by the manufacturing method in quantity, at an inexpensive price and at a high quality in accordance with a demand of a consumer.SOLUTION: The lens formation liquid is cured by being irradiated with light from a direction of a mold having at least no light blocking substance. Preferably, intensity of light reaching the lens formation liquid from the direction of the mold having no light blocking substance is made stronger than that from the direction of the mold having the light blocking substance. More preferably, the intensity thereof from the direction of the mold having no light blocking substance is more than 1.5 times than that from the direction of the mold having the light blocking substance.
