    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye sensitized solar cell with improved photoelectric conversion efficiency, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The dye sensitized solar cell comprises a film 2 of first metal oxide grains formed on a translucent conductive base material 1, an electrode having a film 6 of second metal oxide on the surface of the grains 3 of the grain film 2 thereof, a dye 5 adsorbed to the surface of the film 6 of second metal oxide, an electrolyte layer 7 contacting with the dye 5, and a counter electrode 8 contacting with the dye 5. The base material 1 on which, the film 2 of first metal oxide grains are formed, is made to make contact with metal fluoride liquid or metal fluoride complex liquid having liquid temperature of 80-150°C, which is a component of the second metal oxide.
