    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an electrode without a pointed part which may cause abnormal electric discharge.
      SOLUTION: A masking member 7 having an opening 8 for regulating the forming width B of an external electrode 2 is disposed under a screen print mask 4 comprising a mesh 3 allowing the penetration of an electrode material 5. The electrode material 5 is slid on the mesh 3, and a glass tube 1 is moved in the same direction as the electrode material 5 while being rotated along the lower face of the masking member 7. The electrode material 5 is thereby applied to the surface of the glass tube 1 through the mesh 3 and baked afterward.

    • PURPOSE: To permit the positioning in the peripheral direction for a cylindrical part by the simple constitution for reducing the breakage of the part by engaging the concaved part formed either of the cylindrical part and a chuck with the convex part formed onto the other.
      CONSTITUTION: A concaved part 12 is formed at one edge surface of a cylindrical part 11, and a convex part 14 engaged with the concaved part 12 is formed inside a chuck 13. When the positioning in the peripheral direction is performed, the cylindrical part 11 supplied onto the chuck 13 is temporarily chucked in the degree for allowing the revolution in the peripheral direction. Then, a pusher 15 approaches in revolution, and pushes the cylindrical part 11 into the chuck 13 through a conical concaved part 16. The cylindrical part 11 is revolved in the chuck 13 by the friction on pushing-in, and when the convex part 14 of the chuck 13 is engaged with the concaved part 12 of the cylindrical part, the revolution of the cylindrical part 11 is suspended, and the positioning in the peripheral direction is completed. In this case, the cylindrical part 11 is truely chucked.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent break of legs of an electrode member due to fatigue and also to obtain a ceramic oscillator with ease of assembly and stable characteristic by folding a terminal of the electrode plate member in a case and sealing a case opening end with a sealed plate. CONSTITUTION:A couple of electrode plate members 8, 9 formed by pressing a metallic plate are pressed into a case 11 while clipping a piezoelectric porcelain diaphragm 10 between supports 8a, 9a. The electrode plate members 8, 9 have terminal parts 8b, 9b integrally with the supports 8a, 9a, the terminal parts 8b, 9b are folded inward from the opening of the case 11 and projected vertically to the supports 8a, 9a along a concaved part 11a formed at the side of the opening of the case 11. The sealing plate 12 sealing the opening of the case 11 is provided integrally with a projected part 12a to clip the terminal parts 8b, 9b of the electrode plate members 8, 9 with the concaved part 11a of the case 11. In the ceramic oscillator constituted in this way, break of the legs of the electrode member due to fatigue is prevented, the assembling is made easy and the characteristic is made stable.
