This analog picture signal is again converted into a digital signal by the A/D converter 11. The frequency of the sampling pulse of an A/D converter 7 is decided by the number of picture elements of said sensor 4 and the reading time of one line. However, the frequency of the sampling pulse of the A/D converter 11 is so constituted to be freely set, and the number of read-out picture elements of one line of the frequency can be modified.
