    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic dust precipitator collecting fine particles with high efficiency, by forming a further broader discharge region to efficiently charging fine particles contained in suction air.
      SOLUTION: This electrostatic dust precipitator is provided with a charge part, a dust collecting part, and an outer frame 10 integrating the discharge part with dust collecting part. The charge part is composed of needle-like discharge electrodes 2 for applying a high voltage and grounding electrodes. The dust collecting part is composed of a dust collection filter 5 collecting dust, and the grounding electrodes are composed of a first grounding electrode 3 disposed in contact with the filter 5, and a third grounding electrode 15 disposed at an outer side from the end of the discharge electrodes 2. When a voltage is applied to the discharge electrodes 2, corona discharge is formed between the discharge electrodes 2 and first grounding electrode 3, and between the discharge electrodes 2 and third grounding electrode 15.
