      SOLUTION: This heat storage device comprises a flat heat storage body 9 constituted by vertically disposing a flat heat storage container 10 receiving the latent-heat heat storage agent 3, a planar heating element 11, a flat heat absorber 12, a heat storage body temperature detecting means 13, and a control device 14 for controlling the planar heating element, the planar heating element 11 is closely kept into contact with one face of the flat heat storage body 9, and the flat heat absorber 12 is closely kept into contact with the opposite other face, thus the volume ratio of the latent-heat heat storage agent 3 in the entire device can be expanded, heat transferring performance of the flat heat storage body 9 is increased, and the heat storage capacity of the device can be increased.
