    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of and a manufacturing device a display panel capable of forming a phosphor layer with high dimensional accuracy without cost increase accompanied, applicable for barrier ribs with various shapes.
      SOLUTION: A mold is fitted into a glass substrate having concave parts, in which phosphor paste is filled, in a Z-direction. For example, the mold, made of a metallic material, has a plurality of convex parts corresponding to the concave parts formed on the glass substrate. When fitting the mold into the concave parts, a gap d1 is left between a top end part of the convex part and a surface of an underlaid dielectric layer, and also a necessary gap is left between a side wall face of the barrier ribs and itself. Here, the gap d or the like is set by taking a volume change or the like generated when baking the phosphor paste into consideration.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which efficiently determines suitable image quality adjustment parameters when a plurality of the image quality adjustment parameters is changed at the same time on the basis of user's sensitivity, such as user's preference, whose causal relationship to the image quality adjustment parameters is nonlinear.
      SOLUTION: The image display device 100 includes an image storage unit 1a which stores a sample image for adjustment, a condition parameter determining unit 1b which determines two or more combinations of image quality adjustment parameters by changing the plurality of image quality adjustment parameters at the same time, an image converter 1c which converts the sample image for adjustment into two or more images to be presented to the user on the basis of two or more combinations, an image processing unit 3 for presenting two or more of converted images to a display unit, an evaluation acquiring unit 2a which acquires user's evaluation information for the respective two or more converted images, and an arithmetic unit 2b which obtains the optimum combination of image quality adjustment parameters on the basis of respective pieces of evaluation information.
