    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk unit having high dustproof performance and heat radiation performance. SOLUTION: This optical disk unit is characterized by being provided with: a disk rotating means loading a disk thereon and rotating it; a plurality of optical heads performing recording or reproduction with respect to a disk; a guide means guiding the optical disk transferrably in the direction of nearly one radius of the disk; a transfer driving means for transferring the optical head along the guide means: a base member on which the disk rotating means, the guide means, and the transfer driving means are arranged integrally; and a casing housing the base member and the plurality of optical heads in almost a hermetically sealed state. The optical disk unit is constituted so that an opening part is provided on the disk outer peripheral side of the case, an opening and closing member opening and closing the opening part is provided, the optical head transferred to the disk outer peripheral side pushes and opens the opening and closing member, and at least a part of the optical head is projected outside the casing.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of suppressing damage of a disk eve when an heavy shock is applied to a disk device. SOLUTION: This disk device has a turntable 3b fixed to the rotary shaft 4a of a disk motor 4, a sheathing plate 9 opposing to the upper surface of the disk 2 held with a clamping part 3c, a central part abutting member 12 which is fixed on a surface opposing to the disk 1 of the seathing plate 9 and is to be abutted on the turntable 3b or the rotary shaft of the motor when an external force (a vibration or an impact) is applied to the device and a seathing side abutting member 14 which is fixed on the surface opposing to the disk 1 of the seathing plate 9 and is to be abutted on the upper surface of the inner peripheral area of the disk where a signal is not recorded when the external force is applied and suppresses the disk 1 from being damaged by making the gap between the disk 1 and the seathing plate side abbuting member 14 larger than that between the turntable 3b and the central part abutting member 1 and by stipulating the moving displacement of the turntable 3b and the moving displacement of the disk 1 when the external force is applied.
